Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. We work to the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children and the Care Act 2014.
If someone is in immediate danger
Call the police on 999. For non-urgent police matters call 101. Out of hours, contact your local authority emergency duty team. NSPCC helpline: 0808 800 5000. Childline: 0800 1111.
Our commitments
- All practitioners are registered with Social Work England and hold enhanced DBS checks.
- Safeguarding concerns are recorded and referred to the relevant local authority the same working day.
- We follow local safeguarding partnership procedures wherever we are working.
- Personal data is handled under UK GDPR and retained only as long as necessary.
- Staff receive annual safeguarding training and regular reflective supervision.
- Concerns about our own practice are investigated openly and reported where required.
Raising a concern with us
You can raise a safeguarding concern by calling 01514 593 531 or 07418 354310, or by writing to our registered office. We will acknowledge your concern within one working day and explain what happens next.
